ACME is proud to announce this limited edition replica honoring one of the most famous gassers of all time, the Stone, Woods & Cook Gasser. The SWC Gasser is not your average drag racer. It is considered by many to be the most famous car in drag racing history. Barnstorming match-races pitted the likes of Stone, Woods & Cook, Big John Mazmanian, Junior Thompson, Ohio George Montgomery, the Mallicoat Brothers, and K.S. Pittman against each other to the entertainment of thousands of fans at dragstrips all across the country. These cars and racers also waged a public relations war in the pages of the tabloid racing press of the day. The results of which fueled the hot rodding and performance parts market to even higher levels during the late '50s.
